2. Scope & Age Restriction

This site is intended only for visitors aged 18 or older. By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Even if you do not fill out any forms, certain technical data may be collected behind the scenes by third-party services:

  • IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.
    • Collected by plugins such as Jetpack and Google Analytics (via Site Kit).
  • Cookies & similar technologies.
    • Essential Cookies (WordPress/GoDaddy): Required for basic site functionality (e.g., session maintenance).
    • Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics): Track pageviews, session duration, bounce rate, and referral source.
    • Jetpack Stats Cookies: May count visits and log referrer URLs.
    • Embedded-Content Cookies: If you view or interact with embedded social feeds (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), those platforms may set their own cookies.

Managing Cookies

  • You can disable cookies via your browser’s settings, but certain site features may not function correctly.
  • To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Information You Provide Voluntarily

  • Comments / Contact Forms: If you leave a comment or submit a contact form, whatever you enter (e.g., name, email, message) is stored in my WordPress database on GoDaddy’s servers. This data is used only to manage that communication and is not shared with anyone except where required by law.
  • User-Submitted Content: Any images, stories, or other materials you send remain yours. They are stored and published only with your permission. You can request removal at any time by emailing lipglosswarfare@gmail.com

5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

Because I use third-party plugins and services, they collect and control the data they need. I do not have direct access to all of it. If you want to review, correct, or delete data collected by any of these services, you must contact them directly:

  • Jetpack (Automattic)
  • Google Analytics (via Site Kit)
    • Collects pageview data, session duration, referral source, and approximate location (based on IP).
    • To review or delete your data, visit Google’s Privacy & Security settings or use their Data Deletion Requests.
  • EmbedSocial / Elfsight Blocks
    • May collect data (e.g., IP address) when you view or interact with embedded social-media feeds.
    • Contact Instagram/Facebook/etc. directly for any data-related requests.
  • GoDaddy (Hosting)
    • Maintains server logs that include IP addresses, timestamps, and requested URLs. For any hosting-level data requests, you must contact GoDaddy Support.

I do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

6. Disclaimer of Data-Subject Rights (GDPR/UK/CCPA)

You may have rights under GDPR (EU), the UK Data Protection Act, or CCPA (California), such as:

  • Accessing, correcting, or deleting personal data.
  • Opting out of certain processing.

However, since I rely on third-party services (Jetpack, Google Analytics, GoDaddy, etc.) to collect and process most of the data, I do not have full control over that data. If you wish to exercise any privacy rights (access, correction, deletion, objection, etc.), you must contact the appropriate service directly:

I will, of course, comply with any lawful requests concerning data that resides in my own WordPress database (e.g., comments you submitted). For anything stored by a plugin or by GoDaddy, please reach out to them.

7. Children’s Privacy

Visitors must be at least 18. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

8. Data Storage & Security

All data (comments, form submissions) resides on GoDaddy’s U.S. servers. GoDaddy employs firewalls, malware scanning, and intrusion detection. I do not directly access server logs (those are stored and managed by GoDaddy). Only I have administrative access to the WordPress dashboard, protected by two-factor authentication. If you want to request removal of data stored by GoDaddy, Jetpack, Google, or any other plugin, you must contact that service directly (see section 6).

9. Your Controls & Choices

  • Comments/Data You Provide:
    • To access or delete comments or other form submissions that reside in my WordPress database, email lipglosswarfare@gmail.com
    • For anything collected by a plugin or by GoDaddy’s server logs, you must contact that service directly (Jetpack, Google Analytics, GoDaddy, etc.).
  • Cookie Management:
  • Unsubscribe (Future Mailing List):
    • If I ever offer a newsletter, each email will include an “Unsubscribe” link. Currently, no newsletter is in operation.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Owner may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the site after changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
